Based near Lampeter in mid west Wales, we give a safe haven for sheep where they can live out their full, natural lives in a peaceful, stress free environment. We are a not for profit, no kill sanctuary
All funds raised go straight to the care and welfare of the sheep. We have been largely self funded for the last 20 years but due to ever increasing financial burdens, donations are always welcome to help with the ongoing care of the flock
Our costs keep increasing year by year. Although we have been mostly self funded till now, we are facing the might of the current economic climate and urgently need financial help from donations and the kindness of others to keep our flock happy and safe.
No salaries are paid, the website is a free version and all work for the sanctuary is done by volunteers. So every penny you donate goes directly towards the upkeep and welfare of the flock.
Typically, a bale of hay costs £5, a bale of bedding £10, a sack of feed £20 - £25. General health and veterinary costs can be anything from £10 to hundreds per sheep per year.
As we are a no kill flock, many of our older sheep are needing more supplements during the year to maintain their health as well as needing a lot of extras during the winter.
By choosing our wish list, you will be able to purchase individual items for us that we need day to day.

Adopt a Sheep
We have over 60 sheep in our flock. They are of various breeds and colours, and all will be available for adoption. We make a request of £20 per sheep for adoption, and this will help to provide feed, bedding as well as some basic healthcare requirements for the year.
Adoptions : Valid for 12 calendar months ... We will send out a regular newsletter about what's happening at the sanctuary, a printable and personalised adoption certificate, exclusive pictures and information about your chosen sheep.
As we need to minimise our costs and carbon footprint, all newsletters and communication will be in digital format.
Our fleeces will be sold via Facebook from late June onwards.
All proceeds from fleece sales will go towards the upkeep of the flock.
Prices will be based on breed and quality of fleece after they've been graded and sorted.
